Five easy steps to secure hard drive shredding and on site media and data destruction:

1. Redundant and faulty hard drives are placed in Blue Data secure containers placed on site;

2. A trained Blue Data employee arrives at your premises at a time convenient to you and scans each hard drive's unique serial numbers and manufacturer details;

3. The CESG certified hard drive destruction machine is set up on site and the hard drives are systematically destroyed.  No hard drives or media leave your premises until they have been destroyed; you are welcome to witness the whole hard drive destruction process;

4. The waste hard drives and any redundant PC equipment is loaded into our GPS tracked vehicles and removed from your site. All destroyed hard drives are completely recycled, and PC equipment is recyled to WEEE standards at our premises in Shefford, Bedfordshire; and

5. Blue Data issue a destruction certificate confirming the destruction of the hard drives which meets your data protection obligations.
